	How does KeePet® work?
		Each tag is imprinted with your pet's unique identification number and our nationwide toll-free 24-hour hotline phone number. Our system is simple and convenient for both the owner and the person who finds the lost pet. The pet owner must first purchase a KeePet® tag and register their pet with KeePet®. The KeePet® system allows the pet owner to register 5 separate contact phone numbers. They include the pet owner's day and night phone number, the veterinarian's phone number, as well as two alternate phone numbers of your choice. When a lost pet is found, the finder needs to place only one call to our 24 hour toll-free hotline 1-888-4-KEEPET (1-888-453-3738) and a trained KeePet® staff person will contact the owner. Because we keep five contact phone numbers on file, it is not necessary for the owner to stay at home anxiously awaiting for the news that their lost pet has been located.


	*What does the KeePet®* tag look like?**
		*The heart-shaped KeePet®* tag is a symbol of the love and devotion all owners share with their pets.** The KeePet® tag is an ideal size for all types of pets. It attaches easily to any pet's collar. Each tag is solid brass, elegantly burnished to an antique finish and is made in the USA. Even the split ring and the connector are made in the USA and are constructed from the highest quality materials for maximum durability and safety.

	How will my privacy be protected?
		*The KeePet®* system acts as a liaison between the owner and the person who finds the lost pet.** The only information that appears on the KeePet® tag is our nationwide toll-free hotline and your pet's unique identification number. For your security, your name address and phone number are not publicized on the KeePet® tag. Your private information is only accessed by our staff when the finder calls in with your lost pet's ID number. Your private information is not given to the person who finds your pet, rather, the KeePet® staff person will notify you or one of your alternate contacts with the finder's pertinent information so you can retrieve your lost pet.


	Who shall I list as contacts?
		*Unlike lesser tag systems, KeePet®* allows you to list up to five separate contact phone numbers for each pet! In addition to the pet owner's day and night phone number, we suggest listing your veterinarian's phone number and any close friends or relatives. This helps expediently reunite you and your lost pet in the quickest time possible.**


	What happens if I move?
		No Problem! If you move or you need to change your information, simply contact KeePet® and we will update your registration at no charge to you.


	*Why KeePet®* is better then microchips?**
		KeePet® is not a microchip system. Period. The simple fact is that most people who find stray animals do not have the time or the energy to voluntarily transport an animal to a shelter that may (or may not) have the proper equipment to detect and read an embedded microchip. For this reason alone, every pet needs a means of identification that is clearly visible to any finder at any time. The KeePet® National Pet Return Service meets this need and more.
